In the 23rd minute, Fausto Severo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AllBlack fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Olívio Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Olívio Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in AllBlack's zone, André Luís Tavares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iordache Ciupe came out of the goal and André Luís Tavares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augusto Lorencio in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Alcântara saved Lunáticos FC from getting behind. Dedê Mota might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lúcio Alcântara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedê Mota ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Lunáticos FC's zone, Dedê Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Alcântara came out of the goal and Dedê Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lúcio Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Fernando Sotomayor sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Lunáticos FC's Elivélton Pires got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Afonso Urbano made a kick off. After 56 played minutes AllBlack got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Severo. In the 58th match minute, AllBlack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Iordache Ciupe was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Afonso Urbano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Afonso Urbano really showed his touch with that goal: 6-1. Lúcio Alcântara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Sotomayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olívio Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Lúcio Alcântara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Lunáticos FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Elivélton Pires hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Augusto Lorencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute, Augusto Lorencio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AllBlack fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-1. In the 91st minute, Augusto Lorencio made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Alcântara. Lunáticos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-1. The supporters of AllBlack booed when Lunáticos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabinho Salgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Naldo Breckenfeld was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Augusto Lorencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lúcio Alcântara having to interfere.
