Vermelho 23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corinthos Manuela F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Corinthos Manuela F.C. booed when Vermelho 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Carlos Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Vermelho 23's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Hellsing came free, but Raimundo Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asdrubal Fernandes in the 56th minute of play forced Vermelho 23's goalkeeper Raimundo Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dede Guci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Dede Guci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Prestes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raimundo Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dede Guci in the 83rd minute of the match. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Torbjörn Hellsing sped through Vermelho 23's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raimundo Prestes. After 96 played minutes Corinthos Manuela F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Porto.
