After 18 played minutes AKI CORINTHIANS got a freekick which was hit by Juan Custódio. 23 minutes into the match, Ciro Brasil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva Figueiredo. Jucuitiba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Brasil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After a rather tough play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Romeu Tinoco got a free kick in the 25th minute. Michel Agüero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Nogueira having to interfere. Albino Ibar in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Doriva Figueiredo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Agüero in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Orlando Nogueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the match, Albino Ibar notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo. Doriva Figueiredo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. AKI CORINTHIANS's Orlando Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Agüero in the 62nd minute of play. Michel Agüero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. Jucuitiba's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 79th match minute, Jucuitiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keith Backhouse to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Galvão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Orlando Nogueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Brasil hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jucuitiba's zone, Ciro Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doriva Figueiredo came out of the goal and Ciro Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Michel Agüero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orlando Nogueira was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 95th minute Ciro Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Jucuitiba's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Jucuitiba may have spent more time on the ball, but AKI CORINTHIANS were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
