The supporters of AllBlack booed when Conde SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrão Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Lorencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Conde SC's Luiz Eduardo Tasso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Conde SC from getting a goal against them. If Vânderson Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrão Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Conde SC's Luiz Eduardo Tasso got control of the ball when Augusto Lorencio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Lorencio's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Benjamin Guerra hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Iordache Ciupe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Moraes in the 46th minute of play.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olívio Dantas during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After having played for 56 minutes, Olívio Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AllBlack's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olívio Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Fernando Sotomayor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Fausto Severo came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the AllBlack fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Severo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Augusto Lorencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. AllBlack's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Lorencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Eduardo Tasso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Siqueira struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Iordache Ciupe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Conde SC. In the 84th match minute, Conde SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrão Fantini to maneuver through the defense. AllBlack's Augusto Lorencio got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iordache Ciupe was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Paulão Paes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulão Paes really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Conde SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
