Nelsinho Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Caicedo kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Nassan FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Valadares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murillo Hermes. Perivaldo Arósio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Nelsinho Valadares made a huge save. Perivaldo Arósio took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nelsinho Valadares. Nelsinho Valadares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Nelsinho Valadares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perivaldo Arósio in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Murillo Hermes was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nassan FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valdemar Fernandez was slow to take the kick. During this time SNIPER's players had a chance to rest. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Murillo Hermes put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nelsinho Valadares. 56 minutes into the match, Murillo Hermes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Nassan FC's Nelsinho Valadares. Nelsinho Valadares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo Hermes in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Valadares saved Nassan FC from getting behind. After some careless play in the Nassan FC defense, Murillo Hermes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Valadares. The Nassan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Valadares should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, Felipe Caicedo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Célio Paraíba, passed just outside the right post. Nelsinho Valadares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murillo Hermes went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Hermes in the 81st minute of play forced Nassan FC's goalkeeper Nelsinho Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Felipe Caicedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Murillo Hermes sped through Nassan FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nelsinho Valadares. SNIPER's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
