Spectators: 7654 (Terracing: 5742, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 152) Dadá Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rayane Rodrigues having to interfere. If Dadá Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime de Queiroz took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rayane Rodrigues. Rayane Rodrigues dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Clube Atlético Tubarão's Rayane Rodrigues played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime de Queiroz in the 15th minute of play. Dadá Soares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andrézinho Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Battal Gazi Hürmüz made a huge save. Rayane Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caraguatei's goalkeeper Battal Gazi Hürmüz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andrézinho Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Caraguatei's Luís Fábio Rodrigues in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Clube Atlético Tubarão's goalie prevented a goal. Rafa Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rayane Rodrigues having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Eliézer Pena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caraguatei's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliézer Pena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rayane Rodrigues breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dadá Soares might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rayane Rodrigues. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dadá Soares ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jerônimo Toscano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juarês Fernandez's late challenge caught a Caraguatei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juarês Fernandez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Clube Atlético Tubarão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Caraguatei's Jaime de Queiroz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rayane Rodrigues. That made the score 0-3 after 55 minutes of play. Andrézinho Lago's late challenge caught a Caraguatei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrézinho Lago helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Tubarão's Andrézinho Lago got a free kick in the 59th minute. Battal Gazi Hürmüz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Lago in the 66th minute of play. Clube Atlético Tubarão's Jerônimo Toscano got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Iuri Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Caraguatei were awarded a corner. Isaltino Pontes went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Atlético Tubarão's zone, Eliézer Pena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rayane Rodrigues came out of the goal and Eliézer Pena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rayane Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime de Queiroz in the 86th minute of play. When Joaquim Fernandes fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Tubarão's protests and gave Joaquim Fernandes a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Clube Atlético Tubarão got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Fernandes. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime de Queiroz in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rayane Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Caraguatei's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Fernandes came free, but Battal Gazi Hürmüz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube Atlético Tubarão's Andrézinho Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Clube Atlético Tubarão fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Caraguatei were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
