The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedrão Arce kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. When Márcio Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the GUIRICEMA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Ramalho couldn't finish the play. 6 minutes into the game, Waldemar de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barbie Doll United U23's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GUIRICEMA the free kick. Barbie Doll United U23's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waldemar de Godoi in the 9th minute. The corner ended in Waldemar de Godoi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GUIRICEMA's Cássio Roberto did a great save. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind GUIRICEMA's goalkeeper Cássio Roberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Osvaldinho Queirós hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Joélson Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, GUIRICEMA's Cássio Roberto got control of the ball when Waldemar de Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrão Arce kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cássio Roberto. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. GUIRICEMA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Pedrão Arce scored to the left of an out of position Cássio Roberto, making the score, 2-0. Barbie Doll United U23 were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after GUIRICEMA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Waldemar de Godoi took the corner. The corner led Barbie Doll United U23's Waldemar de Godoi to fire away a dangerous shot which Cássio Roberto despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oséias Bastos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlinhos Maciel's late challenge caught a GUIRICEMA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlinhos Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. 47 minutes into the match, Barbie Doll United U23's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Trancoso came free, but Orlando Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorival Trancoso in the 54th minute of play forced Barbie Doll United U23's goalkeeper Orlando Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlinhos Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cássio Roberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldinho de Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldinho de Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Osvaldinho de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrão Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, GUIRICEMA's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Maciel came free, but Cássio Roberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, GUIRICEMA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Barbie Doll United U23's Waldemar de Godoi got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Barbie Doll United U23's Orlando Barral got control of the ball when Márcio Ramalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Orlando Barral managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when GUIRICEMA's Dorival Trancoso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. There was no doubt that Barbie Doll United U23 were the better team. Barbie Doll United U23's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
