In the 15th minute of the match Flávio Capixaba sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisinho Lima skillfully saved the ball. Luisinho Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Capixaba in the 18th minute of play. Ferroviaria de Araraquara's Luisinho Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ferroviaria de Araraquara from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gil Zonta got free with Luisinho Lima in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 played minutes Ferroviaria de Araraquara got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Teles. Luisinho Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Bati's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. The Ferroviaria de Araraquara supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Saiko FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Saiko FC.
