Socanelas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Asmadi Subagio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Murilo Bueno put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Edvaldo Tande. If Asmadi Subagio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the game, Ribeiro Sales FC's Asmadi Subagio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvaldo Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Murilo Bueno got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Socanelas FC's Edvaldo Tande got control of the ball when Claudinho Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvaldo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Barros in the 55th minute of play. Ribeiro Sales FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Socanelas FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walery Dobrowski took the corner. After 60 minutes of play, Ribeiro Sales FC's Asmadi Subagio made it 0-10 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvaldo Tande was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edvaldo Tande made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asmadi Subagio in the 65th minute. Vinícius Urbano made in the 68th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Eriberto Tavares however managed to control. In the 76th minute, Murilo Bueno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edvaldo Tande. The goal made the score 0-12. Claudinho Barros scored 0-13 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edvaldo Tande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Claudinho Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edvaldo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Barros in the 86th minute of play. Carlos Fernando Brodel's late challenge caught a Socanelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Fernando Brodel helped the player get up and apologised. When the match was over Ribeiro Sales FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Socanelas FC throughout the match.
