Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudinho Barros got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Thunder Palmeiras's zone, Claudinho Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Britto came out of the goal and Claudinho Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Dobrowski in the 5th minute of play. Walery Dobrowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Claudinho Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adriano Britto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Walery Dobrowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Adriano Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adriano Britto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Fernando Brodel in the 14th minute. Carlos Fernando Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Adriano Britto made a huge save. Teo Afonso hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thunder Palmeiras's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Walery Dobrowski 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-0. Adriano Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Walery Dobrowski went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Irinel Codrea in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Weverton Everson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the match, Ribeiro Sales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Codrea came free, but Weverton Everson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Irinel Codrea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Thunder Palmeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Irinel Codrea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Weverton Everson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Fernando Brodel struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Adriano Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ribeiro Sales FC. A collision led to Thunder Palmeiras getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marcel de Toledo hit a great ball. Adriano Britto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Fernando Brodel's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Thunder Palmeiras's Adriano Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Barros in the 41st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Irinel Codrea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Weverton Everson was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Asmadi Subagios short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Adriano Britto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Adriano Britto made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Walery Dobrowski sent off a good shot on target.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Irinel Codrea to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Asmadi Subagio notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Thunder Palmeiras's Adriano Britto. Adriano Britto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudinho Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Adriano Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thunder Palmeiras's Delfim Tinoco was substituted for Emanuel Freitas. Thunder Palmeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Fernando Brodel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 66 minutes into the game, Asmadi Subagio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ribeiro Sales FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Thunder Palmeiras the free kick. In the 68th minute Carlos Fernando Brodel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Britto came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ribeiro Sales FC's Walery Dobrowski. But to his dismay, Walery Dobrowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Adriano Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Fernando Brodel in the 73rd minute of the match. Asmadi Subagio took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano Britto. Adriano Britto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. With his leg Weverton Everson managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Thunder Palmeiras's Irinel Codrea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ribeiro Sales FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Germano de Queirós was slow to take the kick. During this time Thunder Palmeiras's players had a chance to rest. Germano de Queirós made a great header on Thunder Palmeiras's corner, it was just that Ribeiro Sales FC's Weverton Everson managed to reach the ball for a save. Adriano Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Barros went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Adriano Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asmadi Subagio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
