After 20 minutes, Kang Yun Guang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caetite FC and the Albino players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Caetite FC got a freekick which was hit by Kang Yun Guang. In the 22nd minute Régis de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elder Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atay Arpacıoğlu in the 27th minute of the match. Elder Galvão came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Caetite FC's Kang Yun Guang. But to his dismay, Kang Yun Guang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Albino's Marcus de Salles was substituted for Eduardo Bertassi. The supporters of Albino booed when Caetite FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kang Yun Guang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Caetite FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus de Salles to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Atay Arpacıoğlu notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Albino's Elder Galvão. In the 86th minute, Régis de Andrade reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elder Galvão. The goal made the score 0-5. Albino's Elder Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Albino from getting a goal against them. Gilvan Furlan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Albino's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Mangueira came free, but Elder Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Caetite FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caetite FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
