Shamrock United's Henrique Pires proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Shamrock United from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the match, Cido Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrique Pires. Shamrock United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cido Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Doriva Jacinto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrique Pires. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Henrique Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as BRASIL.Sp's Cido Cardozo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrique Pires. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. In the 21st minute, Zé Paulo Pernambucano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a long run with the ball, Thiago Ramalho did a trick in the 22nd minute in front of Shamrock United's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 4-0. In the 25th minute, Doriva Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Shamrock United's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Cardozo came free, but Henrique Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, BRASIL.Sp's Cido Cardozo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrique Pires. Henrique Pires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. 36 minutes into the match, Cido Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrique Pires. After a defensive mix-up in Shamrock United's zone, Cido Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrique Pires came out of the goal and Cido Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute of the match, Cido Cardozo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Henrique Pires was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Eduardo Alvarenga made a kick off. In the 51st minute Doriva Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Shamrock United's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Cardozo came free, but Henrique Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Doriva Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Doriva Jacinto notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Shamrock United's Henrique Pires. Henrique Pires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute João Adolfo Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Cido Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Henrique Pires. Shamrock United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Cido Cardozo sped through Shamrock United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrique Pires. After some careless play in the Shamrock United defense, Thiago Ramalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrique Pires. The Shamrock United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Pires should have stopped the shot. Henrique Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The Shamrock United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrique Pires should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that BRASIL.Sp were the better team. BRASIL.Sp's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
