Spectators: 7435 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 153) Augusto do Vale made the kick off and thus started the match. With his leg Robustiano Seme managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Mazomba SC's Ernesto Rossetti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Válbson Sergipano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 13 minutes, Maximo Pirmin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Athletico Paranaense and the Mazomba SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball had pretty good speed, but Robustiano Seme firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 32 played minutes Club Athletico Paranaense got a freekick which was hit by Sidnei Cerezo. Robustiano Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachary Terasek, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Zachary Terasek cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Robustiano Seme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Mazomba SC's Zachary Terasek slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robustiano Seme. That made the score 3-0 after 44 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Rossetti was the one to do the kick off. Robustiano Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dénes Ábrahám, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Robustiano Seme came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Mazomba SC's Zachary Terasek. But to his dismay, Zachary Terasek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 55 minutes into the game, Sidney de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Athletico Paranaense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazomba SC the free kick. In the 55th match minute, Club Athletico Paranaense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidney de Salles to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Terasek in the 57th minute of play forced Club Athletico Paranaense's goalkeeper Robustiano Seme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
