Augusto do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augusto do Vale had several of the Akira アキラ's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Zé Augusto Tavares as he didn't even see the shot coming. Augusto do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jaime Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Athletico Paranaense's Augusto do Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 minutes, Romário MacAlister mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Akira アキラ and the Club Athletico Paranaense players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Akira アキラ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Romário MacAlister hit a great ball. Jaime Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute Romário MacAlister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jürgen Klinsmann came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Akira アキラ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jürgen Klinsmann couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário MacAlister, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Club Athletico Paranaense's goal looked a bit too open when Romário MacAlister came free, but Robustiano Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Athletico Paranaense's Robustiano Seme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romário MacAlister in the 37th minute of play. Robustiano Seme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Klinsmann in the 39th minute of the match. Denílson Corrêa hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Romário MacAlister recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jürgen Klinsmann came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Akira アキラ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jürgen Klinsmann couldn't finish the play. When Augusto do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Athletico Paranaense's protests and gave Augusto do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto do Vale hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto do Vale to make the kick off. Romário MacAlister hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Club Athletico Paranaense made a substitution. Leigh Bayne replaced Manuel Alves. In the 71st match minute, Akira アキラ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romário MacAlister to maneuver through the defense. Zé Augusto Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Cerezo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76th play minutes Romário MacAlister shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Robustiano Seme and just under the crossbar into goal. Jaime Furtado scored 2-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zé Augusto Tavares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto do Vale in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Augusto Tavares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Athletico Paranaense's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
