The supporters of Mazomba SC booed when 20 de Março FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xie Sheng Yan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Jacinto got free with Válbson Sergipano in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ernesto Rossetti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percival Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. If Edgard Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benê Bittencourt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Percival Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zachary Terasek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the final whistle sounded 20 de Março FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mazomba SC.
