In the 46th minute Cido Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Paulo Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Henrique Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Eduardo Alvarenga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cido Cardozo might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrique Pires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cido Cardozo ran back to his position shaking his head. The BRASIL.Sp fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when BRASIL.Sp's Cido Cardozo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Cido Cardozo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thomás Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After 60 played minutes Shamrock United got a freekick which was hit by Thomás Valadares. Renan Zanette was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as BRASIL.Sp's Cido Cardozo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrique Pires. That made the score 0-6 after 63 minutes of play. In the 69th minute Cido Cardozo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Pires was a little too slow when Beto Hermes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-7. Henrique Pires made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when João Adolfo Trevisan sent off a good shot on target. But to his dismay, Cido Cardozo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. Henrique Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renan Zanette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, BRASIL.Sp's Cido Cardozo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Henrique Pires. Henrique Pires yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. BRASIL.Sp's Doriva Jacinto was substituted for Cido Cardozo. In the 86th minute Doriva Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrique Pires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrique Pires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute.
