In the 13thth minute of the game Tomas Gustavsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Internacional Paulista's Arlindo do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Gustavsson got free with Arlindo do Vale in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to A.C.Mandala getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Tiago Tinoco hit a great ball. Mikkel Beck took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arlindo do Vale. Arlindo do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Dorival Leão hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Edgar Mota shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Xiang Chuan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C.Mandala's Tomas Gustavsson came free and shot a quick shot against goal 31 minutes in the game, fortunately Arlindo do Vale had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Gustavsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arlindo do Vale. That made the score 4-0 in the 35 minute of play. Arlindo do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 5-0 became the score in the 40th minute when Igor Maranhense elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Mota in the 45th minute of play forced A.C.Mandala's goalkeeper Su Xiang Chuan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Babylon was extremely unlucky when he, in the 47th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

A.C.Mandala's Su Xiang Chuan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 50th minute of the match, managed to save A.C.Mandala from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Babylon in the 52nd minute of play forced Internacional Paulista's goalkeeper Arlindo do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Internacional Paulista's Eiko Oese sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Su Xiang Chuan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arlindo do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Babylon in the 58th minute of the match.
