Percival Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Mota in the 9th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Internacional Paulista's zone, Paulão Jacinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo do Vale came out of the goal and Paulão Jacinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of 20 de Março FC booed when Internacional Paulista was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eiko Oese didn't get a good kick on the ball. Internacional Paulista's Arlindo do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Sörman in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgar Mota got free with Percival Montenegro in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 20 de Março FC's Percival Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eiko Oese in the 38th minute of play. Paulão Jacinto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. André Sörman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Arlindo do Vale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Internacional Paulista's Arlindo do Vale got control of the ball when Olaf Pietrasz tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Edgar Mota came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Internacional Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Mota couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xie Sheng Yan in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo do Vale saved Internacional Paulista from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélio Donatello got free with Arlindo do Vale in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 minutes, Hélio Donatello made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Internacional Paulista's Arlindo do Vale tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Guilherme Rezende hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Hélio Donatello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5.
