RapidZ's Stellan Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Biagetti in the 8th minute of play. Stellan Bergqvist was a little too slow when Anderson Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, Abdelnacer Zarabi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stellan Bergqvist. RapidZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdelnacer Zarabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 17 minutes, Aílton Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RapidZ and the FC Catalunha players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aílton Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Stellan Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdelnacer Zarabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Koehler in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito de Godoi saved FC Catalunha from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Lucas got free with Stellan Bergqvist in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stellan Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciccio Biagetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson Seco in the 26th minute of play forced RapidZ's goalkeeper Stellan Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinei Lucas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Stellan Bergqvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, RapidZ's goalkeeper Stellan Bergqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Lucas. Stellan Bergqvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciccio Biagetti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 41 minute of play. A collision led to RapidZ getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jean Berger hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudinei Lucas to make the kick off. The FC Catalunha fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when FC Catalunha's Claudinei Lucas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Stellan Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelnacer Zarabi in the 54th minute of the match. Stellan Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelnacer Zarabi in the 63rd minute of the match.
