Carlos Eduardo Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A well placed Densill 叶挺 short distance shot in the 36th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 40 minutes into the match, RapidZ's Benê Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Eduardo Secco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jean Berger hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hamílton Lopes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hamílton Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Hamílton Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benê Hoffmann got free with Carlos Eduardo Secco in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle went the supporters of RapidZ were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Negrão Fogo FC side.
