With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doru Lițu in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã Meireles saved Guerreiros da Bola FC from getting behind. In the 10th match minute, The Beatles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Österlund to maneuver through the defense. Takis Koutsos had great luck who in the 12thth minute grab hold of the ball when Geovanni dos Santos from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ian Cachia Zammit hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, The Beatles's Reinaldo Trancoso got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Doru Lițu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beatles's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Geovanni dos Santos 19 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Doru Lițu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Natã Meireles. Guerreiros da Bola FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doru Lițu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 24th minute Róbson Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guerreiros da Bola FC's Natã Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doru Lițu in the 26th minute of play. Natã Meireles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doru Lițu's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Bola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Lițu came free, but Natã Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guerreiros da Bola FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Beatles the free kick. The Beatles's Doru Lițu got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Guerreiros da Bola FC's Ian Cachia Zammit got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Guerreiros da Bola FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Lițu came free, but Natã Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinaldo Trancoso struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Natã Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Beatles.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doru Lițu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Natã Meireles came out and tried to block the shot, but Róbson Simões slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Doru Lițu could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Natã Meireles however easily saved by the left post. Reinaldo Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Meireles having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Doru Lițu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natã Meireles was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. If Róbson Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinaldo Trancoso scored 1-4 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natã Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Natã Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Lițu in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Guerreiros da Bola FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Ian Cachia Zammit hit a great ball. The supporters of The Beatles booed when Guerreiros da Bola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Cachia Zammit didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over The Beatles could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guerreiros da Bola FC throughout the match.
