CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Julian Drebit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Takis Koutsos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuca Campidelis's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Róbson Simões struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Julian Drebit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Beatles. Takis Koutsos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Beatles's Takis Koutsos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Marques in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doru Lițu got free with Julian Drebit in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 minutes CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reinaldo Trancoso who took care of the corner kick. Reinaldo Trancoso made a great header on The Beatles's corner, it was just that CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Julian Drebit managed to reach the ball for a save. After 18 played minutes CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Ye Yi Yi. The audience was convinced that Samuca Campidelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Takis Koutsos was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Samuca Campidelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuca Campidelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Takis Koutsos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Campidelis in the 40th minute of play forced The Beatles's goalkeeper Takis Koutsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Afonso Marques came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Afonso Marques couldn't finish the play. Reinaldo Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The Beatles's Reinaldo Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Evert Österlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Beatles's supporters rose to their feet, but Evert Österlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Drebit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Drebit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonso Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Takis Koutsos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Simões came free, but Julian Drebit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in The Beatles's zone, Samuca Campidelis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Takis Koutsos came out of the goal and Samuca Campidelis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the game, CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ's Afonso Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Takis Koutsos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Beatles made a substitution. Enéas Falcão replaced Elder Santos. 77 minutes into the match, Samuca Campidelis dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Takis Koutsos, 0-3. CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ made a substitution. Danilo Peres replaced Ranko Canelas. The Beatles's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Afonso Marques 82 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. Samuca Campidelis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Takis Koutsos firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 88th minute Afonso Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Takis Koutsos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The CEARÁ ESPORTE CLUBE - DMZ players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
