Niceto Ihazintu might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victor Tinoco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Ihazintu ran back to his position shaking his head. Niceto Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Victor Tinoco made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Rodriguinho Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caatiba MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodriguinho Linhares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Tortuga FC's Victor Tinoco got control of the ball when Niceto Ihazintu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Cláudio Damião with He Yang Wei as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Victor Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Ihazintu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Labora kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Tortuga FC booed when Caatiba MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco-Antonio Ramiréz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Caatiba MZC's goal looked a bit too open when He Yang Wei came free, but Ergo Muro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Niceto Ihazintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Tinoco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute Caatiba MZC were awarded a corner. Gaby Milito went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Caatiba MZC's corner Gaby Milito fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victor Tinoco quite easily take care of the ball. Victor Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niceto Ihazintu in the 38th minute. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Ihazintu got free with Victor Tinoco in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niceto Ihazintu scored 3-0 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Tinoco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isac Rolfsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Kimi Gordeenko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tortuga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ergo Muro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kimi Gordeenko went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Niceto Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tortuga FC's Nilton Pereira was substituted for Sven-Erik Asplund. Victor Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Ihazintu in the 73rd minute of play. Genílson Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ergo Muro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genílson Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. Victor Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodriguinho Linhares, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Nuno Mattos notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Tortuga FC's Victor Tinoco. Victor Tinoco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tortuga FC's Victor Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Mattos in the 86th minute of play. Victor Tinoco came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Caatiba MZC's Nuno Mattos. But to his dismay, Nuno Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. 楚国勇 hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Ediberto Oliveira made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nilton Pereira. Nuno Mattos took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Tinoco. Victor Tinoco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2.
