Caatiba MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardo Stenshøj ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Real Cobrinha FR's Glauco Ribeiro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Décio Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Ihazintu's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gaby Milito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caatiba MZC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaby Milito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio Rezende breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caatiba MZC's Ergo Muro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louie Fruekilde in the 80th minute of play. Ricardo Stenshøj blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ergo Muro having to make a save. Ergo Muro came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Cobrinha FR's Nicklas Kock. But to his dismay, Nicklas Kock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Décio Rezende made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Nuno Mattos sent off a good shot on target. Ergo Muro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Real Cobrinha FR fully deserved thier win.
