Décio Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Chulapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 11th minute, Chelsicha's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Louie Fruekilde fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Louie Fruekilde's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Caetano da Silveira firmly grabbed it by the left post. Real Cobrinha FR were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Chelsicha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardo Stenshøj took the corner. The corner ended in Zé Pedro Baptista almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Chelsicha's Caetano da Silveira did a great save. Caetano da Silveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernando Rivera in the 14th minute. Louie Fruekilde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Caetano da Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Décio Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serginho Chulapa's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Ricardo Stenshøj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Caetano da Silveira made a huge save. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsicha's goalkeeper Caetano da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fernando Rivera might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caetano da Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Rivera ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Real Cobrinha FR booed when Chelsicha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serginho Chulapa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Décio Rezende having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Rivera to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the game Jeoffrey Airpoel made a throw-in which Serginho Chulapa played forward. In the 58th minute Fernando Rivera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano da Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Chulapa struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Décio Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsicha. The supporters of Chelsicha booed when Real Cobrinha FR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Stenshøj didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Vânderson Cafuringa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Fernando Rivera put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Caetano da Silveira. Chelsicha's Túlio Maciel was substituted for Mel Speerschneider. When Serginho Chulapa came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Chelsicha fans jumped to their feet. With a little luck, Real Cobrinha FR's Décio Rezende got control of the ball when Rodrigo Félix tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Rivera in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caetano da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fernando Rivera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caetano da Silveira having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Rivera in the 92nd minute of play forced Chelsicha's goalkeeper Caetano da Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Cobrinha FR's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
