Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentino Cedro in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Paraná Clube PG booed when SC Conceição was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Williams Conner didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience cheered when Mazinho Valadares's long shot passed Flávio Terra's right side. It was 1-0, 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Florentino Cedro made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Mazza. Paraná Clube PG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 22nd match minute, SC Conceição was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. When SC Conceição's Florentino Cedro in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Pedro Mazza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernani Rosa got free with Flávio Terra in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Mauro Valadares in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Conceição's Luís Paulo Cerezo. SC Conceição's Flávio Terra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnaba Marud in the 46th minute of play. Barnaba Marud's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Flávio Terra firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 48th minute Barnaba Marud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flávio Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half SC Conceição were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Nevares was the one to do the kick off. If Florentino Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flávio Terra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Florentino Cedro might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Cedro ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Cedro in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Mazza saved Paraná Clube PG from getting behind. Mauro Valadares hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Paraná Clube PG's Durvalino Paranaense was substituted for Mauro Valadares. If Florentino Cedro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, SC Conceição's goal looked a bit too open when Abderraouf Moussaoui came free, but Flávio Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube PG's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Cedro came free, but Pedro Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Mazza came out of the goal and Cristian Nevares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ernani Rosa scored 2-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flávio Terra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SC Conceição's Luís Paulo Cerezo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kauan Negri, made in the 91st minute of the game. Pedro Mazza made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Florentino Cedro sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Paraná Clube PG getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ernani Rosa hit a great ball.
