The crowd rose to their feet as 顾寒森 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hilbert Thormar. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Laranja Mecatrônica's Hilbert Thormar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto de Souza in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecatrônica's goal looked a bit too open when 顾寒森 came free, but Hilbert Thormar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 顾寒森 was extremely unlucky when he, in the 31st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umberto de Souza in the 32nd minute of play forced Laranja Mecatrônica's goalkeeper Hilbert Thormar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Umberto de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Hilbert Thormar made an important save on a dangerous shot by 顾寒森 in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Luís Pontes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 46th minute 顾寒森 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilbert Thormar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 顾寒森's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Hilbert Thormar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Hilbert Thormar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 顾寒森's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Hilbert Thormar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto de Souza in the 54th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 顾寒森 in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilbert Thormar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute, 顾寒森 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The São Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 59 minutes into the game, 顾寒森 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. In the 63rd match minute, Laranja Mecatrônica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Laranja Mecatrônica booed when São Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tostão Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. São Salvador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luís Pontes in the 81st minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Laranja Mecatrônica's goalie and right to 顾寒森. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. São Salvador had played much better football throughout.
