Edson Ribeiro scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hilbert Thormar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Edson Ribeiro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Laranja Mecatrônica's Hilbert Thormar. Hilbert Thormar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 9th minute, Edson Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Hilbert Thormar. Laranja Mecatrônica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Hilbert Thormar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucrețiu Grigore went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Hilbert Thormar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Ribeiro in the 16th minute of play. After 17 played minutes Laranja Mecatrônica got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Novaes. Hilbert Thormar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Grigore, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After some careless play in the Laranja Mecatrônica defense, Lucrețiu Grigore kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hilbert Thormar. The Laranja Mecatrônica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hilbert Thormar should have stopped the shot. In the 25thth minute of the game Edson Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja Mecatrônica's Hilbert Thormar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Ribeiro in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilbert Thormar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Edson Ribeiro sped through Laranja Mecatrônica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hilbert Thormar. Hilbert Thormar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33rd play minutes Edson Ribeiro shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Hilbert Thormar and just under the crossbar into goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laranja Mecatrônica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Grêmio Prudente a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edson Ribeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Laranja Mecatrônica's Hilbert Thormar. 0-8. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Pedroso in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilbert Thormar saved Laranja Mecatrônica from getting behind.

The wind increased when Edson Ribeiro made the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 51 in the game by Edson Ribeiro from a close distance when the talented Hilbert Thormar managed to make a qualified save. Laranja Mecatrônica's players were relieved. Hilbert Thormar was a little too slow when Edson Ribeiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 0-9. In the 57th minute, Vicente Pedroso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hilbert Thormar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. In the 60th minute, Grêmio Prudente's Lucrețiu Grigore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hilbert Thormar. Hilbert Thormar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Edson Ribeiro took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilbert Thormar. Hilbert Thormar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. 73 minutes into the match, Lucrețiu Grigore notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Laranja Mecatrônica's Hilbert Thormar. Hilbert Thormar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edson Ribeiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Hilbert Thormar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edson Ribeiro didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-14 via right post in the game's 79th minute. Grêmio Prudente's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Hilbert Thormar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edson Ribeiro went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-15 was the resulting score. A hard shot by Paulinho Passos from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Hilbert Thormar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edson Ribeiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Hilbert Thormar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 93 minutes, Edson Ribeiro made it 0-16 with a short kick to the right side. Laranja Mecatrônica's Hilbert Thormar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Grêmio Prudente played a much better game than Laranja Mecatrônica and deserved their victory. The Laranja Mecatrônica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
