After taking down the ball on C o n f i a n ç a - SE's corner Charles Capixaba fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Válter Porto quite easily take care of the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Evren Yezid was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belotaurus FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C o n f i a n ç a - SE the free kick. After a rather tough play, Belotaurus FC's Evren Yezid got a free kick in the 26th minute. Válter Porto made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Charles Capixaba sent off a good shot on target. Belotaurus FC's Válter Porto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Belotaurus FC from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute Leonardo Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Capixaba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Cordeiro came free, but Diguinho Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Diguinho Carioca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Gaúcho, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Válter Porto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeremias Maia might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Válter Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeremias Maia ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Jeremias Maia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Válter Porto was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Diguinho Carioca made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Doni Cordeiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 63rd minute, Ulysses Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Maia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Válter Porto having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Belotaurus FC's zone, Jeremias Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Válter Porto came out of the goal and Jeremias Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Maia in the 80th minute of play forced Belotaurus FC's goalkeeper Válter Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Charles Capixaba got a free kick in the 81st minute. Válter Porto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Barbosa in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match C o n f i a n ç a - SE got a corner. Belotaurus FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charles Capixaba ran over to the corner to take the kick. C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Diguinho Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save C o n f i a n ç a - SE from getting a goal against them. Adam Eversden charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Eversden the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
