Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Diguinho Carioca successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Charles Capixaba was slow to take the kick. During this time C o n f i a n ç a - SE's players had a chance to rest. The corner led C o n f i a n ç a - SE's Charles Capixaba to fire away a dangerous shot which 汪斐阳 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rui Cunha tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired 汪斐阳. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-3 in the 40th minute. In the 45th minute Charles Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 汪斐阳 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half C o n f i a n ç a - SE were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Capixaba to make the kick off. The supporters of C o n f i a n ç a - SE booed when Belotaurus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. After 63 minutes of play, Belotaurus FC's Leonardo Gaúcho made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diguinho Carioca was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 71st minute Leonardo Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Belotaurus FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching C o n f i a n ç a - SE's performance. The match ended with a win for C o n f i a n ç a - SE.
