Leopoldo Azevedo started the match with the kick off. Tomás Jacinto made in the 4th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paulo Renato Prestes. In the 5thth minute of the game Rodolfo Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Risca Faca IMT's Vitinho Sarmento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 7 played minutes λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR got a freekick which was hit by Bresal McPhil. With a little luck, λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Fabiano Pombal got control of the ball when Paulo Renato Prestes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Risca Faca IMT's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Gerber came free, but Vitinho Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Risca Faca IMT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bresal McPhil was slow to take the kick. During this time λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's players had a chance to rest. The corner led λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Bresal McPhil to fire away a dangerous shot which Vitinho Sarmento despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Gerber in the 21st minute of play forced Risca Faca IMT's goalkeeper Vitinho Sarmento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitinho Sarmento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Gerber in the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Risca Faca IMT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bresal McPhil was slow to take the kick. During this time λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's players had a chance to rest. Fabiano Pombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilton Passos in the 29th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR made a substitution. Valério Silva replaced Robinho Porto. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abelardo Koehler made a kick off. Abelardo Koehler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Vitinho Sarmento made a huge save. Abelardo Koehler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. André Luís Maranhense hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's Fabiano Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Passos in the 67th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Risca Faca IMT:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR:s goal. Abelardo Koehler shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Fabiano Pombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmārs Bevalds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elmārs Bevalds in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabiano Pombal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Risca Faca IMT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elmārs Bevalds in the 76th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Risca Faca IMT's goalkeeper Vitinho Sarmento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abelardo Koehler. 81 minutes into the game, Risca Faca IMT's Leopoldo Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabiano Pombal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The corner ended in Bresal McPhil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Risca Faca IMT's Vitinho Sarmento did a great save. Vitinho Sarmento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Koehler in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Risca Faca IMT's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Koehler came free, but Vitinho Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Abelardo Koehler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vitinho Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
