In the 16th minute Vladimir do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wachirapong Wattanachinda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Vladimir do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Dagoberto Sandoval left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clube do Remo MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tiaguinho Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Frank Tepedino made a huge save. After 28 minutes of play, GRÊMIO's Ronaldo Fenomeno made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wachirapong Wattanachinda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Tepedino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baal Grunberg's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. In the 61st minute, Vladimir do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wachirapong Wattanachinda was a little too slow when 魏宽银 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-2. Frank Tepedino came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo MZ's Baal Grunberg. But to his dismay, Baal Grunberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The attack was good, but when Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 75th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some careless play in the GRÊMIO defense, Baal Grunberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Tepedino. The GRÊMIO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Tepedino should have stopped the shot. Frank Tepedino came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube do Remo MZ's Baal Grunberg. But to his dismay, Baal Grunberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After 88 played minutes GRÊMIO got a freekick which was hit by Zé Ortiz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baal Grunberg in the 92nd minute of play forced GRÊMIO's goalkeeper Frank Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Baal Grunberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Tepedino was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Clube do Remo MZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while GRÊMIO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
