The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Cordeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. CRICIÚMA E.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 20 de Abril the free kick. The supporters of 20 de Abril booed when CRICIÚMA E.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. But to his dismay, Luan Zanette quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The CRICIÚMA E.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
