In the 39th match minute, Wellington Phoenix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mao Yong Xiang to maneuver through the defense. Ahti Isu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erivaldo Pernambucano in the 44th minute of the match. The supporters of Wellington Phoenix booed when Desportivo Coala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüknettin Şahin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Unai came free, but Ahti Isu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
