Karin Benzema might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdomiro Ferraz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karin Benzema ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdomiro Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karin Benzema in the 27th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dino Nicolini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Alberto Tinoco was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Montalcino SE's Valdomiro Ferraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karin Benzema in the 44th minute of play. AA GUARULHOS made a substitution. Vitor Roque replaced Karin Benzema. Almir Valadares made in the 64th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which João Adolfo de Souza however managed to control. Valdomiro Ferraz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitor Roque in the 65th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as AA GUARULHOS's Vitor Roque slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valdomiro Ferraz. That made the score 1-2 after 68 minutes of play. After 71 played minutes AA GUARULHOS got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Torres. Edvaldo Torres hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Valdomiro Ferraz made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Vitor Roque sent off a good shot on target. Modesto Atarratze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Tinoco having to interfere. The supporters of AA GUARULHOS booed when Montalcino SE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iuri de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, AA GUARULHOS's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo de Godoi came free, but Carlos Alberto Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Alberto Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Atarratze, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jannik Reimer kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, AA GUARULHOS's Valdomiro Ferraz threw himself towards the right post 93 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vitor Roque, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AA GUARULHOS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
