In the 4th minute Alex Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Arantes's late challenge caught a Cerradolona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Arantes helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Arantes hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Alejo Estevon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Arantes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the game, Bezerros EC's Hélder Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejo Estevon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The supporters of Cerradolona booed when Bezerros EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Alejo Estevon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alejo Estevon was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Alex Arantes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Arantes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Luiz Paulo Figueiredo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bezerros EC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Almir Freitas hit a great ball. Hélder Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Alejo Estevon made a huge save. Alejo Estevon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Arantes in the 32nd minute of play. Alejo Estevon came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bezerros EC's Clóvis Camargo. But to his dismay, Clóvis Camargo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 36th minute Alex Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Estevon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Dieguinho Cosme took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Alejo Estevon to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Clóvis Camargo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejo Estevon. That made the score 5-0 in the 45 minute of play.

Fertus De Paula blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fernando Peixoto having to make a save. Luiz Fernando Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fertus De Paula, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 65th minute, Clóvis Camargo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cerradolona's Miguel Corrêa was substituted for Remo Faria. Cerradolona's Alejo Estevon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Azevedo in the 70th minute of play. Clóvis Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Alejo Estevon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doriva Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Hélder Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cerradolona's Alejo Estevon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvério Valladares during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Valladares. 89 minutes into the match, Hélder Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejo Estevon. Cerradolona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hélder Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Cerradolona's Inácio Pimenta was substituted for Fertus De Paula. In the 96th match minute, Bezerros EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Valladares to maneuver through the defense. There was no doubt that Bezerros EC were the better team. Bezerros EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
