Stanislaw Burowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Anton Hurezeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Santa María notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s José Paulo Romero. José Paulo Romero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anton Hurezeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirel Kuli, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 29 minutes into the game, Cauan Favoretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. José Paulo Romero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anton Hurezeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislaw Burowski in the 32nd minute of play. Santiago Futebol Clube's Anton Hurezeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Burowski in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Favoretto came free, but José Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Stanislaw Burowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Hurezeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Mirel Kuli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Hurezeanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lorenzo Santa María to make the kick off. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™ were furious when Ryszard Dudzik was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 50 minutes into the game, one of ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. José Paulo Romero had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping Enrique Arósio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 52nd minute, Enrique Arósio made a precise shot to the right of José Paulo Romero. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. 55 minutes into the match, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Santa María came free, but José Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Rezende in the 57th minute of play forced Santiago Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Anton Hurezeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Laércio Saldanha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Paulo Romero made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Lorenzo Santa María sent off a good shot on target. Mirel Kuli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Paulo Romero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Santana in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Santa María came free, but José Paulo Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santiago Futebol Clube's Francisco Zanette was substituted for Nico Bueno. ≈SΞVĺЯΔ FC™'s Agnaldo Araújo was substituted for Stanislaw Burowski. Santiago Futebol Clube's Arlindo Ramos was substituted for Carlos Santana. Santiago Futebol Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enrique Arósio in the 74th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Arlindo Ramos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Elano Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th match minute, Santiago Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzalo Mangas to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Elano Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Hurezeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Hurezeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Negri in the 87th minute of play. Lorenzo Santa María took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Paulo Romero. José Paulo Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Elano Rezende kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Negri in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anton Hurezeanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
