The throw-in from Damian Conrao in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by S S Palestra Italia's Josué de Senna. A collision led to S S Palestra Italia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rony Tasso hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the game, Gaspar Grez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ARS FUTEBOL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S S Palestra Italia the free kick. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
