The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's goal looked a bit too open when Cauan Favoretto came free, but Alfredão Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Cauan Favoretto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santiago Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alfredão Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cauan Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Santiago Futebol Clube were awarded a corner. Quintin Scheiber went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Santiago Futebol Clube's corner Quintin Scheiber fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfredão Bueno quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Cristo Rei's zone, Enrique Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Bueno came out of the goal and Enrique Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's goalkeeper Alfredão Bueno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enrique Arósio. Lorenzo Santa María received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alfredão Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredão Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico Bueno went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Cauan Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Bueno having to interfere. Santiago Futebol Clube's Gonzalo Mangas got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cauan Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alfredão Bueno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Arósio came free, but Alfredão Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Santiago Futebol Clube's Lorenzo Santa María dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. 44 minutes into the match, Enrique Arósio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredão Bueno, 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenzo Santa María in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredão Bueno saved Atlético Cristo Rei from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lorenzo Santa María made a kick off. Lorenzo Santa María fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Bueno having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Bueno came free, but Alfredão Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Cristo Rei's zone, Enrique Arósio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Bueno came out of the goal and Enrique Arósio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Lorenzo Santa María left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. If Enrique Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Bueno having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiago Mangueira during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Tiago Mangueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Enrique Arósio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8-0 became the score in the 75th minute when Cauan Favoretto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Atlético Cristo Rei getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Vítor Cunha hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Santa María in the 81st minute of play forced Atlético Cristo Rei's goalkeeper Alfredão Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pendekar Bödör sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Atlético Cristo Rei got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Mangueira. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlético Cristo Rei! In the 89th minute Nico Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredão Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Santana went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Carlos Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th match minute, Santiago Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Santa María to maneuver through the defense. Alfredão Bueno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cauan Favoretto's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. When the referee ended the match the Santiago Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
