Cipriano Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Lopes in the 13th minute of the match. Demolidor de Campeões's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgar Andrysiak in the 15th minute. Rodrigo Fernandez made a great header on Demolidor de Campeões's corner, it was just that Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Salva Santa managed to reach the ball for a save. Neil Cassar Overend hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Chico de Brito might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cipriano Catarinense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chico de Brito ran back to his position shaking his head. Cipriano Catarinense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Augusto Lopes's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-2 when João Augusto Lopes sped through Demolidor de Campeões's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cipriano Catarinense. Cipriano Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico de Brito in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dário Carneiro in the 24th minute of play forced Demolidor de Campeões's goalkeeper Cipriano Catarinense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Catarinense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nilton Linares came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Demolidor de Campeões fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilton Linares couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Demolidor de Campeões defense, João Augusto Lopes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Catarinense. The Demolidor de Campeões fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Catarinense should have stopped the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Demolidor de Campeões's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Lopes came free, but Cipriano Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Dário Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Catarinense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demolidor de Campeões's Cipriano Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dário Carneiro in the 32nd minute of play. Chico de Brito took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cipriano Catarinense. Cipriano Catarinense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Alf Brander struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Cipriano Catarinense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ. Alf Brander scored 0-5 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cipriano Catarinense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The crowd rose to their feet as Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ's Chico de Brito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cipriano Catarinense. That made the score 0-7 after 70 minutes of play. 75 minutes into the match, Demolidor de Campeões's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Lopes came free, but Cipriano Catarinense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cipriano Catarinense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dário Carneiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cipriano Catarinense. That made the score 0-9 in the 89 minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match, Adam Kopacz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cipriano Catarinense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Demolidor de Campeões fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cleytec de Nilópolis RJ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
