Petre Porumboiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Chayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Ypiranga FC's Romeu Guedes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Luís de Barros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Luizinho Veiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The wind increased when Angelino Chayo made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, ATLÉTICO BAHIANO's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeu Guedes. The tension between the ATLÉTICO BAHIANO and the Ypiranga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ypiranga FC played a much better game than ATLÉTICO BAHIANO and deserved their victory. The ATLÉTICO BAHIANO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
