Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Pindamonhangaba's Gernando Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tihomir Donevski in the 91st minute of play. Manfredo Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Patrick Arantes made a huge save. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gato Morto's goalkeeper Patrick Arantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A.F. Pindamonhangaba eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
