Juvenal Sergipano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yan Vander went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Juvenal Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Vander in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Lobo Zornoza made a precise shot to the right of Frederico Peixoto. Umarizal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The audience was convinced that Celso Tande's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederico Peixoto was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Yan Vander sped through CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juvenal Sergipano. 39 minutes into the game, Celso Tande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Frederico Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juvenal Sergipano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juninho Galvão's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Umarizal's Yan Vander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juvenal Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2.

Frederico Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 53 minutes of play, Umarizal's Yan Vander made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juvenal Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lobo Zornoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Peixoto having to interfere. In the 58th minute Yan Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Fernado's late challenge caught a Umarizal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Fernado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Placido Fernado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Metodi Belorechki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umarizal's supporters rose to their feet, but Metodi Belorechki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juvenal Sergipano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juvenal Sergipano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Vander in the 71st minute of play. Yan Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Juvenal Sergipano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Johnson hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Yan Vander put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Juvenal Sergipano. Yan Vander took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Sergipano. Juvenal Sergipano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. In the 86th minute Yan Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Sergipano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederico Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Johnson in the 90th minute of play. CUITEENSE FUTEBOL CLUBE made a substitution. José Paulo Almeida replaced Geovânio Galvão. After 92 minutes Umarizal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Célio Fontes who took care of the corner kick. Qian Yang Lin tried in the 93rd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Frederico Peixoto a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 6-3. With a little luck, Umarizal's Frederico Peixoto got control of the ball when Célio Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Umarizal's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
