In the 18th match minute, Aster Brasil Futebol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leander Heidemann to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Aster Brasil Futebol Club's goalkeeper Anísio Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ola Wallengren. Anísio Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleithon Minuhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Cleithon Minuhin hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Júnior de Moraes came free, but Delfim Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aster Brasil Futebol Club's Anísio Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Aster Brasil Futebol Club from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleithon Minuhin in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anísio Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. But to his dismay, Júnior de Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 68 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Júnior de Moraes came free, but Delfim Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anísio Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleithon Minuhin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Júnior de Moraes scored 1-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delfim Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the DENVER™ defense, Ernesto Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delfim Bastos. The DENVER™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delfim Bastos should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Nogueira during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilberto Nogueira hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match.
