Reynaldo Cestarolli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Aleso, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Wiliam Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 15th minute of the match. Reynaldo Cestarolli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas de Brito in the 24th minute of play. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Wiliam Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdelbassir Cestarolli got free with Wiliam Simão in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wiliam Simão came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Cestarolli FC's Abdelbassir Cestarolli. But to his dismay, Abdelbassir Cestarolli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdelbassir Cestarolli made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Pedro Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 61st minute of play forced Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Wiliam Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Cestarolli FC were awarded a corner. Jefferson de Mendonça went to the cornerflag to take it. Luizão Saldanha made a great header on Cestarolli FC's corner, it was just that Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Wiliam Simão managed to reach the ball for a save. 65 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Silas de Brito came free, but Reynaldo Cestarolli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Pedro Freitas notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Cestarolli FC's Reynaldo Cestarolli. Reynaldo Cestarolli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The attack was good, but when Abdelbassir Cestarolli in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 92nd minute Jefferson de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wiliam Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Wambasther van Dijk hit a great ball. Reynaldo Cestarolli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oier Lopez de Toro in the 96th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
