In the 5th minute, Dorian Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavinho Pernambucano kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Shao Hao Zhen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Edson Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Shao Hao Zhen came free, but Paul Christini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferreira Lopes MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adrian Kruse in the 16th minute. A hard shot 19 in the game by Betinho Damião from a close distance when the talented Gabriel Barral managed to make a qualified save. Ferreira Lopes MZC's players were relieved. With a little luck, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Gabriel Barral got control of the ball when Panos Karkantos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paul Christini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Edson Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adrian Kruse was slow to take the kick. During this time Ferreira Lopes MZC's players had a chance to rest. After 31 played minutes Ferreira Lopes MZC got a freekick which was hit by Silas Vale. In the 33rd minute Panos Karkantos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Panos Karkantos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gabriel Barral. Panos Karkantos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Ernesto Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Gabriel Barral made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Hao Zhen in the 47th minute of play forced Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Paul Christini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ernesto Fontes made the kick off in the second half. If Shao Hao Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edson Futebol Clube's Paul Christini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shao Hao Zhen in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Edson Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alim Karaman hit a great ball. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Gil Pirani was substituted for Adrian Kruse. Ferreira Lopes MZC made a substitution. Juan Alvarenga replaced Rodriguinho Brasil. In the 61st match minute, Edson Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alim Karaman to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Pedroso Geromel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Christini skillfully saved the ball. Paul Christini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shao Hao Zhen in the 63rd minute of play. Paul Christini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinicio Junior went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Edson Futebol Clube made a substitution. Heleno de Freitas replaced Betinho Damião. After having played for 69 minutes, Gil Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edson Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paul Christini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Suhendar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Folke Kühlem was substituted for Pedroso Geromel. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Jeremie Van Deijck got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Shao Hao Zhen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paul Christini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edson Futebol Clube's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Shao Hao Zhen 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-4. Shao Hao Zhen didn't quite understand what happened when in the 90 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 92 minutes into the game, Shao Hao Zhen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-5. Paul Christini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Edson Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ferreira Lopes MZC's performance. The match ended with a win for Ferreira Lopes MZC.
