The supporters of Villaverde Celeste Clube booed when H4K.BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Goanță didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, William Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villaverde Celeste Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, H4K.BR's goal looked a bit too open when William Lucas came free, but Igor de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Villaverde Celeste Clube were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Patrick Mangueira made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Villaverde Celeste Clube's Nicolai Otamendi got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Patrick Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. H4K.BR's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nenko Reza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nenko Reza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. A nice corner shot did that William Lucas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Igor de Barros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Roy Makaay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Makaay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 83 in the game by William Lucas from a close distance when the talented Igor de Barros managed to make a qualified save. H4K.BR's players were relieved. Patrick Mangueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nenko Reza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Villaverde Celeste Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Mangueira came free, but Nenko Reza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Lucas got free with Igor de Barros in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Villaverde Celeste Clube defense, Patrick Mangueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nenko Reza. The Villaverde Celeste Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nenko Reza should have stopped the shot. The H4K.BR supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Villaverde Celeste Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Villaverde Celeste Clube.
