The audience was convinced that Sten Andrejević's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yuri Quirino was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Guilherme Vidal got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Vítor da Costa. Douglas dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Sten Andrejević struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Yuri Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROSÁRIO SPORT. Sten Andrejević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Yuri Quirino made a huge save. After 32 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Horácio Gonçalves. In the 35thth minute of the game Sten Andrejević who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Al-Fajuth's Yuri Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guilherme Vidal made in the 37th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vítor da Costa immediately put the ball in play. 41 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Andrejević came free, but Yuri Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Andrejević stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yuri Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Andrejević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorian do Vale made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Cruz Adolskiy. In the 73rd minute, Sten Andrejević ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. ROSÁRIO SPORT's Alf Elg was substituted for Sigvard Rosendal. After 78 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Timeteo Pinto. If Ture Möllgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, Sten Andrejević had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Quirino. Al-Fajuth's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sten Andrejević was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 82 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Andrejević came free, but Yuri Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ROSÁRIO SPORT's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dean Harvey in the 87th minute. A very nice done corner allowed Luiz Fabiano Furlan to score against Yuri Quirino in Al-Fajuth's goal. 5-1 after 87 minutes. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Cruz Adolskiy got a free kick in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Al-Fajuth's goal looked a bit too open when Ture Möllgren came free, but Yuri Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes, Cruz Adolskiy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Al-Fajuth and the ROSÁRIO SPORT players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cruz Adolskiy to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the ROSÁRIO SPORT players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
