The audience was convinced that Han Xi Guang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Britto was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Rubens Esteves scored 2-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Paulo Silva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fathoni Baso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of João Paulo Silva when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hannes Hellsing kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Han Xi Guang to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Roland Radics hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fathoni Baso might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Paulo Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fathoni Baso ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicolas Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Han Xi Guang in the 60th minute of play. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ made a substitution. Lauro Leite replaced Fathoni Baso. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ made a substitution. Hartmut Propst replaced Rubens Esteves. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ made a substitution. Cody Miles replaced Luiz Eduardo Valadares. ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Almir Dante quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Wojciech Rutecki, made in the 64th minute of the game. João Paulo Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 88th minute, Lauro Leite made a precise shot to the right of João Paulo Silva. Família Ressaca MZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After some careless play in the Família Ressaca MZ defense, Cody Miles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Paulo Silva. The Família Ressaca MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Paulo Silva should have stopped the shot. João Paulo Silva came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by ҜΔΜƗҜΔŽ€Ş ĆƗΜŽ's Cody Miles. But to his dismay, Cody Miles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Família Ressaca MZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
