Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Sá in the 9th minute of play. After 11 minutes of play, Dr Lecter SC's Corneliu Dridu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Dante was left in no man's land by his defense there! Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 16th minute of play. Celso Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when David Lima sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Luiz Fabiano Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dr Lecter SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Fabiano Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Dante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar de Moraes in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th match minute, Dr Lecter SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Di Fabrizio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar de Moraes in the 29th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when David Lima got free with Celso Trevisan in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute Fedele Di Fabrizio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Dante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Tarcisio Couto to fire away a dangerous shot which Celso Trevisan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Sá came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aníbal Sá made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Nahia in the 53rd minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Tarcisio Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Celso Trevisan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilmar de Moraes in the 59th minute of play forced Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fedele Di Fabrizio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Dr Lecter SC's goal looked a bit too open when David Lima came free, but Celso Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola was substituted for Enzo Nahia. A collision led to Dr Lecter SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Pitta hit a great ball. In the 70th minute of the match Arthur Queraria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celso Trevisan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 71st minute, Breno Loyola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Trevisan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 74th minute, one of Clube Atl. Taquaritinga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clube Atl. Taquaritinga. 81 minutes into the game, Breno Loyola cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Celso Trevisan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Haroldo Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Clube Atl. Taquaritinga's Breno Loyola got a free kick in the 87th minute. Haroldo Dante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Armando Graack kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. A long shot from Luiz Fabiano Pitta in the 95th minute of play was well struck, but Haroldo Dante made a really good save at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Clube Atl. Taquaritinga had won after a very even match.
